This Web site is operated by Testonica Lab OU and/or its subsidiary
companies or universities (collectively, “Testonica”). This privacy policy (“Privacy
Policy”) applies to information that you provide to Testonica via this
site, and/or by use of Defsim services (collectively, “DefSim”). This
Privacy Policy is intended to provide you notice of Testonica’s
information management practices, including the types of information
gathered, how it is used and safeguarded, and the degree to which you

any DefSim Service or Web site constitutes acceptance of this Privacy

Testonica respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personally
identifiable information that you provide in connection with your use of
its Web sites and DefSim service. To sign up for DefSim service, you will be
asked to provide some required contact information. The information you
provide will be used in the following ways:
- To activate your DefSim account. To do this, we will ask for your
login, password, name, email address, and Institution or Company name.
- In certain cases to contact you for feedback and surveys.
- If we partner with other companies to provide you services. We
employ other companies and individuals to perform DefSim service on our
behalf. Examples include sending postal mail and e-mail, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance,
and providing customer service. They
have access to personal information needed to perform their functions,
but cannot use it for other purposes.
When you use the service we will be collecting and storing files on
our servers. This is the data you will be managing in your account.
Please note that by sending to DefSim any information or files,
you grant Testonica an unrestricted, irrevocable license to use,
reproduce, display, perform, modify, transmit and distribute those files
or information in scope of DefSim service processing.
Testonica uses cookies and log files to store and track information
about you. We will use information from cookies and log files to deliver
relevant information to you and collect information we need to
administer our service to you. In order for you to use our service we do
not require that you have cookies enabled on your computer.
Testonica uses IP addresses to diagnose problems with our servers and
to administer DefSim. Your IP address also is used by Testonica to
gather broad demographic information, such as your general geographic
location and Internet Service Provider. IP addresses are further used to
help determine the number of DefSim users. This demographic information
may also be used by Testonica to analyze aggregate Web usage behavior.
Testonica uses commercially reasonable computer security safeguards
to protect its databases and servers against risks of loss, unauthorized
access, destruction, misuse, modification, or inadvertent or improper
disclosure of data. These risks, however, cannot be completely
eliminated and Testonica therefore cannot guarantee complete security.
Testonica Web sites may contain links to other Web sites. Testonica
is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of those
other Web sites.
By using this DefSim service, you consent to the terms of our Online
Privacy Policy and to Testonica's processing of Personal Information for
the purposes given above as well as those explained where Testonica
collects Personal Information on the Web.
